Apartment free home rentals are the most difficult searches to conduct.
Often, people sign leases and finalize deals quickly in order to avoid
having to go through the entire process again and again innumerable number
of times. But all that can be avoided by simply being a little more aware
and a little more careful. Here are some factors you need to consider before
signing on the dotted line:
1. Parking: Be aware that many properties were built at a time when families
did not have more than one car. Ask the prospective landlord about how many
spots you will get if you sign the lease. Also find out if there is a
separate parking for visitors - this can affect you because if other tenants
have visitors who park in your spot, you are left to park on the street.
2. Traffic and the commute: You should be aware of how long it may take you
to commute to your work place every day from the property. If the property
is close to highways, be sure to find out about noise and pollution levels
which are usually high in such areas and can cause a lot of damage to
health.
3. Amenities: Many property owners advertise a number of amenities but do
not mention who will be paying for them. Be sure to clarify this point.
4. Appliances: Check that all the appliances are in working condition and
talk to neighbors or other tenants who can tell you if the landlord actually
take care of the maintenance of the property. |
